EMILY is a contemporary folk recording wth both chamber and bluegrass instrumentation.   With the winds of "glasnost" blowing across musical categories in the mid-1990s, Barbara was thrilled to have been received with the respect, enthusiasm, and acceptance for her music and songs.  In 1997, Barbara was the New Folk winner at the New Jersey Folk Festival.
